In a new information dump on Intel’s new Core Ultra 200 “Arrow Lake” CPUs from Golden Pig Upgrade, we get details on the SKUs to expect, integrated GPU configurations, and the new flagship Z890 chipset. Intel’s new flagship CPU this year will be the Core Ultra 9 285K “Arrow Lake-S” processor, which will launch alongside the Core Ultra 7 265K, and Core Ultra 5 245K processors.

Golden Pig Upgrade explains that new Z890 motherboards should all feature native Thunderbolt 4 as standard. The integrated GPU on Intel’s new Core Ultra 200 series “Arrow Lake” CPUs will have up to 4 Xe-Cores based on the Alchemist Xe-LPG graphics architecture, half of what the laptop-focused Core Ultra 100 series “Meteor Lake” processors have with 8 Xe-Cores.

We’ve also recently heard that Intel’s flagship Core Ultra 9 285K processor will have a maximum CPU boost clock of 5.5GHz, 700MHz lower than the Core i9-14900KS which clocks at 6.2GHz out of the box. But, in a post by leaker wxya on Weibo, who said that the new Lion Cove CPU cores inside of the Arrow Lake CPUs will have boosted L2 cache amounts of 3MB, which should provide a “big improvement” to gaming performance.

Intel Core Ultra 200 series “Arrow Lake” CPU features:

  • LGA 1851 Socket Longevity Planned Uptill 2026
  • DDR5 Only Compatibility, No DDR4 Support
  • Kicks off With 800-Series Motherboards
  • Support For Up To DDR5-6400 Memory (Native JEDEC)
  • Increased PCIe Gen 5.0 Lanes Through CPU & PCH
  • Arrow Lake-S First Desktop Family Supported (DIY)
  • Arrow Lake-S CPUs feature 3 MB L2 Cache Per P-Core
  • Arrow Lake-S CPUs feature Alchemist iGPUs
  • Arrow Lake-S CPUs feature 8+16, 6+8 CPU SKUs
