As I scoured through data science job listings on LinkedIn and Indeed, it struck me how different these roles were.
While the roles were all called “Data Scientist,” they couldn’t be more different in terms of scope and requirements.
Some of these positions were more analytical, while others seemed more MLOps or engineering oriented.

I started applying to the positions I thought I was qualified for, only to be met with rejection or radio silence.
