‘Dullsville and the Doodleverse’: The Doodles Film’s Summer Premiere

The world of NFTs is constantly expanding, with new and innovative projects emerging daily. One such project is the Ethereum-based NFT series Doodles, which gained massive popularity for its unique and vibrant art style. Now, the team behind Doodles is again driving forward with their latest venture, the animated film ‘Dullsville and the Doodleverse’.

A Fusion of Film, Animation, and Music

Scheduled for release this summer, ‘Dullsville and the Doodleverse’ will feature an original soundtrack from Doodles Records, accompanied by an animated special. However, what sets this project apart is its collaboration with music and animation luminaries. The star-studded soundtrack will include contributions from globally recognized artists like Pharrell Williams, Lil Wayne, and Coi Leray.

“Dullsville and the Doodleverse” is part of Doodles’ campaign, Project Gray. This initiative aims to offer a comprehensive experience to the audience through various activities, such as immersive storytelling, music, partnerships, and exclusive merchandise. More details on collaborators and distribution plans will be revealed before the project’s launch.

With OGs “at the center of it all”, ‘Dullsville and the Doodleverse’ will kick off in early summer, with the Doodles film premiere planned for the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival. This will be followed by a worldwide release, ensuring that audiences from all corners of the globe can enjoy this unique fusion of animation and music.

Expanding Creative Reach with Doodles 2

Last year, the Doodles team launched Doodles 2 on the Flow blockchain, which hosts major brands like the NBA and NFL. This move allows Doodles to explore a broader spectrum of creative and technical opportunities, including a personalization feature for NFT holders to customize their digital avatars.

The launch also introduced limited-edition wearable collections available for trading on the Gaia marketplace.

In May 2023, Doodles introduced the Pharrell pack, featuring a set of three unique digital wearables. Humanrace and BBC IceCream branded the items in this collection, which also featured a digital NFT redeemable for a physical pair of Adidas Sambas designed in collaboration with Pharrell.

Doodles, launched in October 2021, started as a collection of 10,000 unique NFTs featuring characters designed by the celebrated artist Burnt Toast. This series of digital collectables has since risen to prominence in the Web3 landscape.
