Giorgi Shonia: I have always been fascinated by all things technology ever since I was a child. I got my first job at the age of 14, actually – I was really into cybersecurity and wanted to study it firsthand. Afterward, I expanded my focus to front-end and back-end development until at the age of 17, I began working on international projects as a full-stack developer, selling my projects on the American and European markets alike.

But my ambition and passion for technology didn’t stop here – I wanted to do something of my own, shaped by my personal vision and understanding of the technological market, which is how I conceived Moncero – a Swiss-based company that works on providing leading technological solutions for the international market.

Today, I am not only the CEO of Moncero and a chairman of various joint-stock companies as well as recently founding – and becoming a CEO – of Nordom, an upcoming crypto exchange platform that is aiming to change the crypto market game.

Question: What inspired you to create Nordom?

Giorgi Shonia: It all started with a deep passion for technology and a desire to push boundaries. At Moncero, we saw the untapped potential of the crypto market, which was often held back by inefficiencies and unclear value propositions. We wanted to challenge that—to disrupt the status quo and create something truly innovative.

Our vision was to not only make crypto more accessible but to also bring real value to users through transparency and technology-driven solutions. We knew the landscape was changing, but we didn’t want to just adapt—we wanted to lead the charge and shape the future of the crypto market.

Question: What is Nordom’s mission, and how does it shape the exchange’s approach to the crypto market?

Our mission is to build a crypto exchange that’s all about unwavering security, unparalleled transparency, and a seamless user experience. In fact, it is precisely based on our research and understanding of the current struggles faced by new users of the crypto market, who are often met with overly complicated new terms and technology.

We believe that trading crypto should be solving problems, not creating new ones, and we’re ready to set a new standard in the industry, which is why we are doing our best to make entrance into the crypto space as easy as possible for inexperienced newbies.

With time, we also intend to keep on updating and enhancing our platform based on the feedback we’ll be receiving from our users.

However, our biggest short-term focus right now is to kick off with a Beta version of a Telegram-based Nordom game.
