With a steady stream of driver updates, bug fixes, and day-one game support, Intel’s Arc graphics cards continue to improve. In our review of the SPARKLE Intel Arc A770 TITAN OC Edition from earlier this year, we said it was a decent mainstream option for 1080p and even 1440p gaming thanks to the top Intel Arc A770 GPU featuring 16GB of VRAM.

Regarding Intel Arc GPUs, SPARKLE is right up there regarding build quality, style, and thermal performance. Until now, each model has had a distinct look thanks to bright ‘Intel blue’ for the shrouds and blue-colored PCBs.
SPARKLE’s latest addition to its Intel Arc lineup is the SPARKLE Intel Arc A770 ROC OC Edition 16GB, available in Black and LUNA White. Sporting a more compact twin-fan design with a 2.5-slot thickness, the new ROC OC Edition features the same out-of-the-box overclock as the triple-fan TITAN OC Edition.
Cooling is handled via the twin 100mm dual ball-bearing fans and heatsink, with SPARKLE positioning these new Arc A770s as GPUs “ready to fit into a compact system.” The Intel Arc A770 is the most powerful Arc on the market, and although average in-game performance is comparable to the GeForce RTX 4060 and Radeon RX 7600, the $300 USD or so price point makes it an attractive option.
The Intel Arc A770 is a great entry-level ray-tracing card, and the 16Gb of VRAM offers a bigger buffer for higher-resolution gaming – not to mention AI workloads. We’ve just received the SPARKLE Intel Arc A770 ROC OC Edition 16GB for review, so stay tuned for that as we begin to put it through its paces. There’s currently no Amazon listing for the GPU, but product pages are now live on Newegg, with the Black edition carrying a $299.99 USD price and the LUNA White version at a more premium $319.99 price.
